Chart Topping Texan to Headline Burra Festival

What better place to showcase up and coming and legendary country music talent than at the Burra AGL Country Music Festival at Burra on the 18th, 19th & 20th November.

An amazing line up of South Australian, Interstate and International talent will provide 3 days of country music for everyone with headline act Doug Bruce and the Tailgaters, creating a huge buzz amongst the circuit already. Texan born, Doug Bruce and the Tailgaters have recently returned from the United States where the latest album is reaching great heights on the Country Music Charts, both in the USA and Australia.  Featuring one of the finest lead guitarists in the business, Doug Bruce and The Tailgaters promise to deliver a “do-not-miss” live show.

The star-studded line up also features Sandie Dodd, who is fast becoming the “Dolly Parton of Australia” with her flawless covers along with a wide selection of Country Music greats to keep fans rapt.

The return of Dwayne Elix with his supreme banjo/guitar skills will surely delight audiences, along with Tracey Rains and Claypan (featuring Greg Bunnett on guitar), Tanya Cornish (Trans-Tasman Entertainer of the Year 2014), John Turner Jnr, Whiplash, The Twilight Zone (featuring Peter Tilbrook of the Masters Apprentices), and legendary bush poet & emcee extraordinaire, Bob Magor. All this, plus so much more. This strong line up of talent is just the right mix to appeal to a wide group of country music enthusiasts, and music lovers in general. There’s nothing like quality live entertainment, and it’s all here right in our own backyard!
