A1

Min Man 45 def RSMU 40

A strong consistent game from the start from both sides.  The high intensity and hard work showed each quarter until the end of the game.  Min Man’s strength in their goal ring put them in front in the last quarter.  RSMU fought hard to turn over loose balls and jump in-front, however Min Man had the edge and took the win.

A2

South Clare 41 lst North Clare 47

An intense battle from the first whistle saw North Clare take a slight lead in the first few minutes but from there it was goal for goal with only a goal separating the teams at the quarter and half time breaks.  Kristy Lewis worked extremely hard in attack with Bree Smith providing great support in South Clare’s attacking line.  Last quarter Hollie Crawford, Lauren Finey and Diesy O’Driscoll converted their turnovers to stride ahead.  Great spectator’s game.

B1

Min Man 47 def Eudunda Robertstown 24

A nervous start by Min Man and accurate shooting by both Andrea Mosey and Lucy O’Driscoll saw the Saints off to a good start.  Min-Man settled and closed the gap providing a one goal lead at the first quarter.  Min Man consolidated lead in the second quarter with some great intercepts and pressure down the court.  Min-Man remained to be settled and defensive pressure continuing on to have a strong win in the end.

B2

Min Man 41 def BSR 39

The game started evenly with both teams trying to settle their nerves.  Min Man found form in the second quarter with more direct passing and tight defence in the mid court creating turnovers.  BSR came out firing in the third quarter with beautiful defensive play over the court, resulting in the scores being level.  The last quarter was a cracker with both teams desperate to win, playing very intense netball.  Perseverance by Min Man resulted in a win.  This was a fantastic game of netball – Simply Brilliant.

C1

North Clare 65 def Eudunda Robertstown 42

Saints started a bit slow but kept in the game until half time but North Clare’s height was too hard for Saints to come back. Great shooting by Amy Doecke for the Saints.  North Clare played strong with Saints fighting hard every quarter. North Clare goalies Sophie McLennan and Jo Goodwin shooting extremely well to see North win convincingly. Well done everyone.

C2

South Clare 44 def North Clare 39

This derby was always going to be a tight contest between these two teams. The first quarter South Clare settled earlier and had a lead of 2 at the first break. By the end of the second quarter North Clare started to challenge South’s defence and was scoring goal for goal. Callie Laidlaw and Amber Mason worked hard keeping Mikayla Lawrie out of goals and with a few intercepts North Clare started claiming their ground. Sam Booker and Chloe Bolitho kept momentum with accurate shooting.  South Clare perserved and with turnovers from Lexi Bache at GD, South Clare pulled away for a convincing win.

15U

BSR 57 def RSMU 38

BSR came out focused and determined with every player on the court working hard and displayed awesome team work.  Accurate shooting by Lucy Meyer and Josie Rains in the goal ring, supported by Chloe Jackson in the mid court, driving and intercepting the ball.  Casey O’Toole took some great interceptions in defence.  Hawks never gave up and had a good last quarter moving well.

J1

North Clare 44 def BBH 23

Both teams started well, with great turnovers by North Clare’s Kelsie MacDonald and fantastic shooting by Robyn Coles and Chloe Goodwin. The second quarter North Clare came out hard with some great turnovers ending with goals. BBH’s Ruby Waters had great intercepts in the goal ring making North goalies work harder to finish the goal. BBH goalies Georgia Hook and Emily Lines shot extremely well. All in all, both teams worked very hard and fought to the end.

J2

BSR 29 def North Clare 19

A great standard of game from both sides. BSR controlling the first quarter, followed by a strong second half by North Clare. BSR held on to win with great defence and excellent turnovers. Both sides fighting hard and giving their all for the whole game.
